Welcome to RHC2016

This year marks the 20th annual Rural Health Conference: RHC 2016. This annual event is organised by the Rural Doctors Association of Southern Africa (RuDASA), Rural Rehab South Africa (RuReSA) and the Professional Association of Clinical Associates of South Africa (PACASA). Rural Health Conference 2016 (May 2016).png

The overarching aim of the annual Rural Health Conference is to be a platform for rural health practitioners, partners and stakeholders across the country to connect, share experiences, learn from one another and discuss good practices and challenges in rural health care.

This year’s theme is ‘Rural Health 20/20: through the looking glass of the past, the present and the future’. We hope to explore where Rural Healthcare has come in the last 20 years; discuss some of the issues facing Rural Healthcare currently; and envision where we see Rural Health in the next 20 years.

The conference will be hosted by 1820 Settler National Monument in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape from the 6th to the 9th of August.
